Aussendienst Smartcard CA

Aussendienst Smartcard CA is a Sub-CA of Allianz Group Root CA.

As a predecessor CA of Allianz Smartcard CA its purpose was to issue authentication- and encryption certificates for employee smartcards.

Authenication Certificates were published to Allianz Group Directory.

Although its CA Certificate is valid trough 2011 no more certificates are issued by this CA.

Certificates issued by Aussendienst Smartcard CA are/were used for the following purposes:

• Windows Domain Authentication
• User Authentication within Intranet (IND/GIN)
• User Authentisierung with VPN-Gateways

(They are not being used for E-Mail Encryption for which purpose within Allianz Group software certificates by Allianz UserCA are used.)
